Shackerstone has a cemetery adjacent to the closed Church burial ground for residents of the Parish. Non-residents may also be buried in the cemetery if they are able to prove a strong local connection.

Barton in the Beans Churchyard is still open and is administered by Barton Fabis Baptist Church.
